We started with the ceiling for 2 bedrooms. For the ceiling we use white ceiling panel 60x60x0.8 centimeters. We order 10 packages each package contains 10 panels, so 36 m2. The 2 bedrooms are 32 m2. After the ceiling assembly, only 2 boards remained. The ceiling is made entirely of very (cheap) standard material.
In the bedrooms we keep the ceilings lower than in the living room. The ceiling height is about 200 centimeters. Less volume, in this case 32m3 in a room, means less cooling is required. Cooling in the bedroom is provided by an air conditioner unit designed for 80 m3. The outdoor unit is mounted under the house. Additional fresh air is supplied by the ventilation system.
We love leaving messages on walls, hidden for future discovery. The next action point is to finish the walls with white panels.
The ceiling in the large room is almost finished, on the right of the photo the new wall is shown. The wall is made from long WPC Wall Panels with a size of 40 x 0.8 x 290 cm.
