The service water is used for toilet, shower and washing, as drinking water we prefer bottled water.
The service water system consists of the well pump described under well water, a 1000 liter domestic water tank, a domestic water pump to supply the house, the underground piping and a 5 micron filter.
In the future we will use a second service water pump for more capacity and pressure in the house. We will also add an expansion tank to stabilize the water pressure. The expansion vessel ensures that pressure differences are absorbed.
The tank has UV protection, but unfortunately the water in the tank is heated by the sun. We've tried installing insulation using a bamboo mat, but the real solution will be a roof to stop warming by the sun.

The water filter under the house has a bypass to make changing the filter more easy.
