Since there are so many bananas planted in the area, we of course tried it too. Amazingly, just a year after we planted the first bananas, a plant produced bananas. The banana tree was just 1.4 meters high.
First, the banana tree produced a red bud from which rows of bananas later grew.

Unfortunately only the first row grew well. The remaining sprouts remained small even though we provided enough water.
Finally we picked the green bananas and let them ripen from green to yellow. The taste was good.
